The Art of Possible with Automation
Adopting and scaling a digital workforce.
Automation is a matter of not if, but when. Automation Anywhere helps organizations make the transition to a digital workforce.
Automation is a matter of not if, but when. Automation Anywhere helps organizations make the transition to a digital workforce.
Whenever a transaction has a constant element of data entry and moving the data from one system to another, it is ripe for automation.
Deloitte reports that 53% of companies have begun implementing robotic process automation (RPA) and 78% of adaptors are planning to invest more. In the next few years, RPA will pervade every part of the economy.
Based in San Jose, California and having grown over 300% in the last few years to 2700 employees, Automation Everywhere is an RPA innovator. The company is a tech unicorn that has raised over $840 million in investment funding from Salesforce Ventures, Goldman Sachs, SoftBank Investment Advisors and more.
Automation is the most important arrow in digital transformation.

Automation can help companies become more profitable without even having to innovate new products. “There are two types of innovation,” explains Amit Limaye, Global Industry Leader, Manufacturing, Automation Anywhere. “The first is core product and services innovation where services lines are improved or new products are created. The second type of innovation is process innovation itself. How do you innovate the process of delivering your products and services to the end customer, thereby helping organizations optimize their costs as well as grow exponentially? Automation Anywhere indirectly impacts product and service innovation but directly impacts process innovation.”
On the exhibit floor, Automation Anywhere’s Build-a-Bot Showcase promises to be a popular draw. “Anyone who visits our Showcase will get a chance to interact with our software suite, build a bot from scratch, and see it in action,” says Limaye. “They’ll get the feeling of how the technology is going to ease their life when they get back to their office.”
He explains, “For example, an individual from a CFO’s office might want to automate something around tax computation or the head of HR operations might say, ‘Hey, onboarding is my biggest bane of existence.’ Depending on who visits, we can have a board session and give them an idea of what’s possible.” Automation Anywhere will host twelve workstations with hourly hands on demos where you can learn to build a bot.
What we hear from every successful customer of ours is our ability to create a journey plan in advance, with value built in. Then we use that value to excite and engage other sectors of the business.
Automation Anywhere will co-sponsor a seminar with Eastman Chemical Company. Mark Waugh, Automation Central Manager at Eastman, will address the issues that the organization faced during its journey towards automation, as well as how a company can deliver products and services to the end customer. RPA and the digital workforce platform allow for innovation and optimization of cash flow without having to invest in new product creation.
Amit Limaye will lead a seminar titled Digital Workforce: An Automation Platform for a Versatile, Fast, Low-Risk Transformation. “I make the case where companies who have generated millions of dollars in value using automation are using automation as one of the strategic initiatives within their digital landscape,” says Limaye. “Automation has the fastest time to implement and the lowest cost to value.”
He continues, “It also has the lowest risk exposure when transforming business processes because it doesn’t require you to replace any of your big-ticket IT systems. It doesn’t require you to do an enormous amount of infrastructure changes. You don’t have to install anything in your data center. You just subscribe, login, click, and start automating. And manufacturing companies love that. They love any digital transformation which does not necessarily expose them to too much risk. They also want agility in their innovation and digital transformation. With automation, you can really go piecemeal fashion on a set strategy, implement something, and put the value back into the next implementation.”
Automation doesn’t just apply to CTOs, either. “I would highly encourage people who are heading a particular business function to attend,” says Limaye. “For example, a VP of finance, a VP of supply chain, a head of manufacturing—all would gain something.”
Automation can help humans do more meaningful work. “It liberates a human workforce from doing something they never wanted to do,” says Limaye. “Organizations are able to move employees into more meaningful roles that will multiply the value that automation delivers.”
