eChemExpo Expo and Conference will be held in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Wednesday and Thursday, April 15-16, 2020. The Expo is only on Thursday, April 16 with set up starting at noon on Wednesday, April 15. The Conference will begin on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 pm, April 15 and continue throughout the day on Thursday, April 16.
A speaker coordination meeting for Wednesday afternoon seminars will be held at 10 am. A speaker reception for the Thursday seminars will be held Wednesday evening at 5 pm.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
The exhibitor at eChemExpo assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel premises and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Hotel, its owner, and its management company, as well as their respective agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages and claims. This hold harmless agreement also applies to eChemExpo, EcoChem Strategies, Eastman Chemical Company, Marriott’s MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center, City Of Kingsport, Kingsport Hotel LLC and Marriott International.
ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS
Q: Should we register our company attendees?
A: YES. Please do so after JANUARY 8 on the to attend page so that name badges will be ready for you upon arrival. This provides complimentary admission to the expo and conference and applies to all exhibiting personnel. Please try to pick up you badges on set-up day so avoid standing in lines on the event day.
Q: Can we invite customers and prospects to attend?
A: YES. Customized electronic guest passes are available for your use in notifying customers and prospects to pre-register for FREE admission to both the conference and expo. The most successful exhibitors will notify the same targets three times:
- Mid to late January (say Jan 15-30): Initial “Mark Your Calendar” notice
- Use your own message or forward our January announcement
- Add the eChemExpo logo to your e-mails and website
- Mid to late February (say Feb 15- 28): Followed by more details on your product offerings and reminding them about the complimentary conference
- Generic and Customized electronic Guest Passes should be available
- Again, be sure to add the eChemExpo logo to your e-mail and website
- Mid to late March (Mar 15 – 30) : The third and final reminder
- Resend Guest Pass and give more details on what you will be exhibiting
Q: Where should I stay?
A: The event is being held at the MeadowView Marriott Convention Center. Ask for the “eChem Expo” discount of $139 instead of the $159 normal rate. This rate will be in effect until Friday March 12 or until the room block is sold out. Alternatively, call 888- 632-3697 and ask for the eChemExpo group rate or book online from our Directions & Hotels page.
Q: Who is the Meadowview Convention Center exhibits coordinator?

Q: What are the shipping guidelines?
A: To ship your equipment, instruments etc, please be guided by the following instructions from Meadowview. They should be shipped to:

Please make sure your shipments DO NOT arrive sooner than Thursday, April 9, ’20. Meadowview Convention Center cannot accept any shipment before April 9.
Q: When can we set up and then later disassemble our booth?
A: Exhibit hall set-up is from 12 noon through 8 pm on Wednesday, April 4. The exposition opens at 9:45 am AM on Thursday, April 5, and closes at 4:30 PM. All booths must be set up and ready by 7:45 on Thursday, April 16. The exposition will close at 4:30 PM and teardown immediately follows. There is a wrapAll booths must be packed up and clearly labeled for shipping (including account numbers). MeadowView will not be responsible for equipment that is not packed, sealed and labeled correctly.
NOTE: Tear down begins AFTER the exhibit hall closes at 4:30 pm. NO early tear down allowed. This is a SAFETY issue. There is a WRAP-UP session scheduled from 4:35-5:00 pm that some of you may want to attend before tearing down your booth space.
Q: What are the lead generation options for the exhibitors?
A: Use of camera phones to take pictures of the attendee badges along with collecting business cards have been our traditional methods that are most effective. We are evaluating new options and will update this guide if there are new developments.
Q: Is internet service available in the convention center?
A: Yes. But it needs to be purchased on-site with through the Convention Center staff. The charge is $25 per connection plus tax and service charge.
Q: Any other special functions?
A: YES. DON’T MISS this year’s Keynote Panel from 8:15 AM- 9:30 AM. This will give you valuable insights on the current capital purchasing environment and how to better position your company for success.

A: Yes. IMPORTANT: Please read the Hold Harmless Agreement in this guide. Your acceptance of the hold harmless clause is a requirement for participation in the 2018 eChemExpo Solutions Marketplace.

- Package #1 ($75): Pipe and drape for 10’x10’ or 10’x12’ booth, 8’ an 8 table, 2 chairs and a waste basket.
- Package #2 ($125): Package #1 plus access to 120 V electrical (20 amp)
