December 15,2021 update:
eChemExpo is now confirmed for April 20-21,2022. Updated Covid policy for attendees is described below. (Insert Here)April 16, 2021 update:
As announced over Thanksgiving Week 2020 we have again pushed eChemExpo back 5 months from May 2021 to October 2021. More specifically, to October 19-20, 2021. After in-depth coordination with the Eastman Containment Team back in November ’20 it became apparent that moving this meeting to the Fall of ’21 was needed to garner their support for sending attendees. While the gathering is open to any process industry professional, Eastman remains the anchor organization sending some 450 people to each of our last two events (2018 and 2016).
While we are optimistic about the October dates, there are two check points with the Containment Team: Just before June 20 (4 months ahead) when we start online complimentary registration for attendees. And then again 6 weeks ahead (Sept 7, just after Labor Day) to be sure that health and safety conditions are what are currently anticipated.
While we are expecting almost to normal conditions by October, we will likely be requiring some level of post pandemic precautionary health and safety measures based on CDC and local regulatory recommendations at that time. For example the wearing of masks; some level of social distancing in the classroom seating arrangements; one directional people flow in the exhibit aisles; etc.
So be sure to check back on our website for any updates around June 20 and September 7. And register to attend after June 20.
June 22, 2020 update:
We’ve pushed eChemExpo back from October 2020 to Spring of 2021. More specifically, to MAY 19-20, 2021. After in-depth conversations with attendee company executive leadership over the past several weeks, it became apparent that they are currently unable to look four months out to guarantee participation at the level we are accustom to and even one month out for an October gathering may have been challenging.
After evaluating virtual meeting options, the Planning Team decided that it is better to wait until a time when the eChemExpo vision and mission can best be accomplished with a physical presence gathering:
VISION: To be the #1 multidisciplinary applied innovation Expo and Conference in the process industry
MISSION: To provide the optimum environment to exhibit and present the latest manufacturing technology, hardware and software; and for accelerating implementation of improved systems, technology and best practices.

Rescheduling of eChemExpo 2020 from April 15-16 to a later date is NOW CONFIRMED with OCTOBER 7-8 the tentative new dates. The Planning Team met earlier today and agreed that rescheduling is in the best interest for all involved to mitigate issues associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the associated travel and group gathering restrictions on both attendee and exhibiting companies.

March 10, 2020 update:
The middle of last week we began to get inquiries about the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as it relates to eChemExpo 2020, scheduled for April 15-16. Last week’s inquiries were more related to potential restrictions on some of our attendees, particularly from Eastman Chemical Company, who is the anchor organization in terms of attendees, typically sending some 450 attendees.
This week, starting yesterday March 9, we have had about ten inquiries from exhibiting companies; with several indicating that their company might impose, or has imposed, travel restrictions that could impact their participation in eChemExpo 2020. As such, the Planning Team is actively evaluating if we should continue with the April 15-16 dates or reschedule. If rescheduling is selected, the following dates are being considered:
While Monday, March 23 has been the milestone day for making the GO versus RESCHEDULE decision. We are hoping to move that decision up to Tuesday, March 17.
If it becomes necessary to reschedule, the following will remain in place: All currently signed up exhibitors will retain their assigned/selected booth locations; the Seminar Program for both Wednesday and Thursday will remain the same. We will need to still evaluate if online attendee registrations will be repeated or built upon as is.
If it becomes necessary to reschedule, we will work with attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers to ensure a smooth transition to the new dates. More details will be provided as soon as possible.
Thank you for being part of the eChemExpo community, and for coming together to as we work through this difficult, but necessary evaluation and possible rescheduling.
We will continue to update this page, as appropriate.
