Seminar Proposals

The 2020 eChemExpo Conference will span one and a half days. We expect to have a three track conference on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 15 and a five track conference on Thursday, April 16 concurrent with the exposition. Most seminars are presented by exhibiting companies. These should be highly relevant presentations on how applied innovations of exhibiting companies address the theme “NEW HORIZONS: SAFELY INNOVATE, OPTIMIZE & GROW!“.

While most eChemExpo presentations in the past have focused on a two year horizon for implementation of the applied innovations presented, eChemExpo 2020 is encouraging exhibitors to consider incorporating a five year outlook on what is possible by 2025 as a portion of their presentation.

We expect a similar size conference as in 2018 where we had 58 PDH accredited seminars and four, hour long, PDH accredited feature panels. The difference for 2020 is that the EXPO day (Thursday) will incorporate two hour long conference breaks, one in the morning and second in the afternoon, to provide more “EXPO-only” time on Thursday and shift 20+ seminars to Wednesday afternoon.

Gold Sponsors present two seminars each; Silver Sponsors present one seminar each; and then there is a pool of other available seminar spots for additional seminar proposals.

Because there is a limited number of seminar slots, submitting your proposal early increases your chance of acceptance. In 2018, Gold and Silver Sponsors took up 40 of the 58 seminar slots… leaving 18 slots for competitive selection based on the abstract submitted and relevance of the topic to the event.

When to Submit

  • November 1: Review first batch of titles and abstracts received
  • November 15: Due date for Gold & Silver Sponsor abstracts. Also the due date for review of the second batch of OTHER company proposed seminars
  • December 5: If seminar space is still available, a final batch will be processed.

All eChemExpo seminars go through an accreditation process to have them approved for Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit for attendees. Please complete the form below and you will receive an automated copy of what you submit or email the following info to
