Stakeholder Survey – eChemExpo

eChemExpo is normally held every two years in Kingsport TN. The next gathering is scheduled for April 20-21, 2022 but was initially scheduled for April 2020. By way of background, the previous April 2018 gathering attracted some 200 exhibiting firms, a community of over 1340 registrants, 60 PDH accredited seminars and four highly relevant panel discussions.

Your input on this strategy survey will help shape the development of the 2021 expo and conference which is attended by an expanding base of regional manufacturing, process industry, EPC and service related companies.

There is no provision for confidentiality in this survey but answers provided are used only by the Planning Team to develop the 2020 program.
PART 1 - What are your challenges?
A. The 2022 meeting theme is NEW HORIZONS: SAFELY & SUSTAINABLY INNOVATE, OPTIMIZE & GROW. How relevant is this theme to you/your group &/or your company for 2021 thru 2023? PART 4 – RELEVANCE TO YOUR NEEDS
I. An aspect being explored for 2021 involves collaboration with partner universities and other applied research entities. For example: Oak Ridge National Laboratory; the Eastman Innovation Center at North Carolina State University; the Eastman Unit Operations Laboratory at the University of Tennessee; the Maintenance & Reliability Center at UT; the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM); the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT); the RAPID Manufacturing Institute (a.k.a. Rapid Advancement of Process Intensification Deployment}; the American Chemistry Council CIO Forum; PIP &/or CII Working Groups, etc. Can you propose ways that some of these could add value? Any other recommended entities?
J. Can you suggest any existing entities that might be intereested in co-locating one of their meetings with eChemExpo 2021? For example, groups involved with safety-health-environment, cybersecurity, information technology, process development, process intensification, sustainability, energy efficiency, mechanical systems innovations, maintenance and reliability, safety systems, electrical systems, instrumentation & control, etc.
